#2 RJD2 - Ghostwriter

My second choice is still a bit far away from the rock n' roll, indie rock, slack, thing I usually do....it's actually a quite souless song. But we all have moments where we feel that way, this is the little "homage" to those moments, or to when you're running and nothing really special hits your mind, you just keep pacing yourself, trying to reach a new personal record, it's not too cold, neither it's too hot, so you just go and enjoy...running...did more of that in 2010 than I had since 19...something. Gotta do it, gotta strain yourself, have to push yourself...

..or maybe it just related to those moments when you see a dog staring at you, and you stare back, making him feel there's a dog looking at him.

#1 Dull To Pause - Junior Boys

This is definitely a good one to start. This is how the year started, quietly, softly, and not-rockish... seems I'm having less and less of that, stuff is instrumental, stuff is electronic-prone, pop-prone or whatever prone that day has become. I turned 30 this year anyway, and if life wasn't simple, it's less and less simple, but more and more clear at the same time how useless it all is.

So enjoy the big number, and relax, because turning thirty is pretty cool.

My 2010 songs

So, disclaiming, this is NOT one of those "best songs of the year" kind of thing where I try to sell myself as some great music critic that, quite unexceptionably, society failed to recognize. No, I have no special skills or studies entitling me to have a drink with Brian Eno while commenting pussy near the swimming pool. Sure coldplay are a bore, but that's easy for anyone to recognize.

So what list is this? well, everybody likes doing lists. It's a fact, it's a classic. And when the ending year has such a great catchy number going along with it, like 2010, that is even more bound to happen.Logically, can't promess doing the same next year, but then again, maybe you don't want me to do it anyway.

So what is this list anyway, it's the songs I've heard the most in 2010, the sound palette to my 2010 memories, because down in the end, at the deep bottom of the road, it was a hell of an year. Some of them, maybe none, is actually from 2010. Maybe a couple of them are, and, you probably have guessed it by now, the list is not even exhaustive. so why read it? what's the effing reason not to, after all, you got all the way here.

...oh, and by the way, if I'm breaking any copyright law by sharing this, I don't really know or care.
